5 x extension licences
Each licence allows you to connect a single device to our system.
This could be a 'real' IP telephone, a software phone running on a PC, or an analogue phone attached to an
ATA
(many ATAs offer more than one telephone jack - each
active jack requires a licence). This licence does NOT
include the cost of any telephone hardware or software.

5 x external lines
Every extension can make and receive calls to external numbers on the traditional telephone network.
You can receive up to 5
calls at the same time, if supported by your device (to increase this limit, request additional external lines when you order).
You can make as many simultaneous outbound calls as your device and internet connection will support.

Inbound geographical telephone number
A single UK geographical number (e.g. 020 123 45678) is associated with your
network of extensions.
You can choose any UK area code (or a more memorable Silver and Gold
number*), or keep your existing BT number if you prefer*.

Your package includes unlimited‡ free calls to all UK geographical numbers (i.e. starting with 01, 02 or 03).

Free calls between extensions
Your can call any other extension on your local network free of charge, including extensions
connected to your network via the Internet, regardless of their physical location e.g. home workers.
You can also call other Keyfonics customers free of charge by dialling their Keyfonics extension number.

Individual voicemail for each extension
Each extension has its own voicemail. By following simple voice prompts users can
record their own unavailable/busy messages and manage their voicemail. Notification of new voicemail
is sent to the user via email (optionally including the voice message as an attachement).

Music on hold
For a more professional image, when you place callers on hold they hear music rather than
silence or computer-generated tones.

Call transfer
Users can transfer an active call to another extension (or external telephone number†).
The system supports 'blind' transfers (caller
is immediately transferred to the new destination) and 'assisted' transfers (caller may talk to the third party before transferring the
call to them).

Call diversion
Users
can divert calls to another extension (or external telephone number†) until further notice, or when
their
extension is busy, or
on no-answer.

Caller ID
Caller ID presents the caller's number on your extension's display (if supplied by the network and supported by the device).
Where provided, the Caller ID is included in voicemail messages and notification emails.

Call waiting
If an extension receives a call while it's busy the user will be made aware of the new caller, and can
control the call using the telephone's call waiting features (if supported by the device).

Do-not-disturb
When activated callers will hear a customisable message indicating that the called party is unavailable and will be
immediately diverted to the extension's voicemail.

Hunt groups
An incoming call can ring a group of extensions simultaneously, or ring a number

Call parking

Call Queues
With this feature your callers enter a call queue. Agents who wish to answer calls from the queue log-in and are allocated calls
as they arrive. Callers are welcomed to the queue and are kept up-to-date as to their position in the queue and likely wait times.
Supervisors may monitor the queue, and reports are available online detailing numerous call handling performance metrics.
